MAC Please Me - Review & swatched

Today I realised it's been a while since I've done a beauty post so I thought I give a little review of my all time favourite MAC lipstick 'Please me' complete with swatches, enjoy!

Please me is a every beautiful dusky rose colour. It is subtle enough to suit the an everyday make-up look with just the right amount of colour to take you through to the evening!

Please Me has a matte but not chalky finish. The formulae being matte does leave my lips feeling and looking a little dry, but not as much as other matte lipsticks I have tried. Unfortunately dry lips seems to be a common theme with all matte lipsticks I have tried (apart from the Revlon matte colour balm - but it is a balm!) I would recommend applying lip balm or lip scrub before applying to lessen the drying effect!

I can see Please Me working well with a lot of skin tones as it is quite a neutral shade. It personally suits my skin tone both when I am tanned and when I am my usual pale self!

Like all MAC products, Please Me is super long lasting and transfer is minimal. Which is great as no one wants to be constantly applying lipstick!

I hoped you enjoyed reading this post, if you did please take a minute to follow me on bloglovin!

Have you tried Please Me? What did you think? What is your favourite MAC lipstick? Let me know in the comments below!
