Is Millie Mackintosh's new clothing line the best thing ever? (yes)

As you may know if you have been reading my blog, the wonderful Millie Mackintosh is my September style icon! If you missed that post and want to know why, you can check it out here. This month Millie launched her much anticipated clothing line on her website www.millie-mackintosh.com and in truely fabulous manner, modeled all the clothes herself ('information desk person' emoji). Not only are the clothes unbelievably beautiful but they're actually pretty affordable too! I am loving every item and I couldn't think of a more stylish and effortlessly chic person to release a clothing line. I thought I'd share with you a few of my favourite pieces from the collection!

Bonded Scuba Prom Dress - £125

What a beautiful alternative to the traditional prom dress! This Marilyn-esce prom dress features the popular scuba materica and looks absolutely stunning!

PU Shorts - £50

I am in love with all things PU recently. These shorts are the ultimate item as we segway into autumn. The problem with PU is that clothing can often be either too shiney or too matte, these beautiful shorts seem to have the perfect medium! Millie pairs these shorts with a few of her items from the shoot and it really shows their versatility. The type of shorts you could wear casually or really dress up for a night out! I definitely need a pair of these in my wardrobe this autumn!

Scoop Back Jumpsuit - £90

This item is also available in a nude/pink colour. This jumpsuit is reminiscent of 60's style, it's so effortlessly cool and looks brilliant even without accessorizing as Millie shows in the picture. The jumpsuit really works well at accentuating and complimenting her figure, the lines are so simple yet elegant.

Patterned Shift Dress - £90

Also very 60s, this patterned shift dress would be perfect for a night out with the girls. The pattern is just jazzy enough to stand out but not hurt the eyes of others around you. Like the jumpsuit, this shift dress features simple lines which works well with heavier patterns.

Embellished Neck Top - £50

This is the type of to you could wear over and over again without the fear of your outfits feeling repetitive. The top features a simple embellishment on the neck reminiscent of greek headpieces. I can see this top working so well with so many different items, a great top to take you from the office to a meal out in the evening!

Cream Peplum Embellished Waist Dress - £125

Doesn't this dress look incredible? Millie rocks this pretty white peplum top, and I'm sure anyone else who wears it would too! Like many other items in her collection, the dress features a light embellishment, this time on the waist. The funky cut of the peplum feature of the dress makes it unique, would be perfect for a hot date in the city!

Two Tone Sequin Bomber Jacket - £250

I definitely left the best til last! This bomber jacket is my idea of heaven. A little more on the pricey side in comparison to her other items, but boy does it look worth it! This is the ideal piece to dress up any outfit. Would work well with champagne and a live indie band.
