Tried & Tested: Cult Beauty Products

Cult beauty products, the ones you read about everywhere. Everybody's loving them and you probably really want to try them out too! I decided that I would give a few mini-reviews of my absolute favourite cult beauty products! I will also be giving away three of these products in a post later this week so stay tuned for that!

Xen Tan Absolute Luxe Dark Tanning Lotion - £29.50-£40

If you know me, you will know that I'm a bit of a sunless tan addict! I am constantly on the lookout for the best new tanning products. I am currently on my second repurchase of the Xen Tan Absolute Luxe and will definitely be buying a third when this runs out! This product is a bit pricey at £40 in boots (but only £29.50 on feel unique!) but I would say it is worth every penny! This tan leaves such a beautiful olive-toned colour to your skin and lasts for around 10 days - so much longer than every other tan I've tried! It's clay-like texture is super easy to apply and never goes streaky! It dries a lot quicker than other tanning products and never goes streaky. The smell isn't even that bad (which is saying a lot for any fake tan *ahem* biscuits!) If you want to know more about my tanning favs (and not so favs) Check out my 'Best and Worst Fake Tans 2014'.

Benefit They're Real Mascara - £19.50

Wow. Just wow. I am a big lover of BIG lashes and this mascara really does the trick! With most mascaras I tend to use two or three coats before I achieve my desired thickness and length but this does it all in one coat without a single lump in sight! This is super efficient as I use a lot less per application so it lasts about twice as long as a normal mascara (seriously, the bottle seems bottomless at times!) Ten out of Ten!

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation - £31

Probably my most repurchased makeup item, um, ever! I love love love this foundation. I must be on at least my sixth bottle of the stuff now! I love glowy skin. In my opinion, the glowier the better. This makes my skin look so healthy and flawless and just simply wonderful! The coverage is medium but can be build to full and the finish is dewy. If you want to know more about this product I wrote an in depth (covers just about everything) post that you can check out here.

Benefit Porefessional Primer - £24.50

My favourite primer ever! Much like many other young women, my complexion is not the clearest. Specifically, pores and oil. A gal's worst enemies. This primer not only keeps all of your shiney bits matte but it also makes for a perfect makeup base. I love this product for long days or when I'm going out for the night. My makeup lasts about ten times as long. It's brill.

Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser - £15

You have probably seen this product around a lot. Everybody is loving this cleanser. Why, you may ask? Quite simply because it is insane! Nothing makes my skin feel clearer and more amazing than this moisture and super ingredient packed cleanser! The Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser includes naturally active ingredients suchs as Rosemary, Chamomile, Cocoa Butter and Eucalyptus Essential Oil to nourish and protect your skin. The cleanser also comes with two muslin clothes when bought as a starter set. The muslin cloth acts as an exfoliant making this product a two-in-one perfect skin treat. If you want to read more about this product I talked about it in my daily skincare routine.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment Set - Aprox. £30

I'm talking about the very well-known and raved about Lee Stafford Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Mask for "hair that never grows past a certain length". I owe my life, well, at least my hair length to these hair care products. My hair literally did not grow for years and I was beginning to think it never would, but this really did help. My hair started to grow, and the quality improved ten fold! Don't even get me started on how incredible Lee's products smell, ugh, wow! I was thinking of doing a full hair care post soon, what do you guys think?

MAC Studio Fix Fluid - £21.50

This really is a great foundation. In my opinion it is very full coverage so beware of that, if you're looking for a medium to sheer coverage this may not be for you. When applied well, this foundation gives the most beautiful, flawless finish. Because it is such full coverage I tend to wear it when I'll be out for the night as it is so long lasting.
