The 10 best Sex and the City moments

If you know me well, you'll know how much I absolutely LOVE Sex and the City! I have watched every episode at least four times now and I don't even class it as a secret pleasure, I am a fully committed, unashamed FAN. So I thought I'd put together a little list of my all time favourite Sex and the City moments!

10. When Carrie falls down at the fashion show but gets right back up again and laughs it off because she is too fabulous to care

9.  When Carrie gets a little too comfortable around Big and farts in front of him in 'The Drought'

8. When Miranda announces to the girls that she couldn't go through with the abortion, and Charlotte, who is having problems conceiving herself tears up and exclaims 'we're having a baby?!'

7. When Carrie bumps into Mr. Big outside a club, she asks him if he's ever been in love. 'Abso-fucking-lutely' he replies.

6. When Smith Shaves his head in 'Out of the Frying Pan' to show Samantha that he can cope with her cancer and wants to go through it with her.

5  In 'Hop, Skip and a week' When Harry bumps into charlotte at a local singles night for Jews after their break-up. He adds a twist on the classic Casablanca line when he sees Charlotte 'of all the Synagogues in all of New York, you had to walk into mine' and then exclaims that he can't live without her and proposes, it's all very romantic.

4 Harry and Charlotte's wedding sparks one of the most beautiful and funny episodes across all of the series. After a series of unfortunate events at Charlotte's wedding, Carrie walks in on her crying in the bathroom. 'I just wanted the perfect wedding' Charlotte exclaims. Carrie reassures her that she already had the perfect wedding with her previous husband Trey, and the marriage was awful. 'I think, the worse the wedding, the better the marriage'.

3  In the episode 'One' when Miranda realises that Steve is 'the one' at Brady's first birthday party.

2. Samantha's speech at the Cancer benefit. In true Samantha style, she says it exactly how it is. Inspiring the whole room to remove throw their wigs in the air in a sort of twisted graduation-like manner.

1 The ultimate Sex and the City moment, of course, is in the final episode 'An American in Paris (Part deux)' When Mr. Big shows up in Paris to confess his love and bring Carrie back to New York in true fairy tale manner.

So there we have it, my top 10 ultimate Sex and the City moments! I hope you enjoyed this post, lest me know in the comments what your favourite Sex and the City moment is!

  3. Oh, these were so lovely to read through - especially as I've only ever watched the SATC films and haven't yet viewed the series! The first one where the model steps over Carrie is hilarious and has featured across the internet SO many times.. it's nice to know where it came from! :)

  4. Aw I love SATC too! So much! My favourite moment is probably when they're shopping for Miranda's wedding presents and everyone is being negative so Charlotte suggests wrapping a stapler in brown paper and smearing dog poo on it - classic! x
